Healing happens when care honors both your story and your nervous system.

Transforming mental health care

I am a licensed mental health counselor offering personalized, trauma-informed therapy that honors the connection between mind, body, and environment. I work with clients in my office, through secure teletherapy, and outdoors in nature, creating flexible pathways for healing that meet you where you are.

A unique approach

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. By offering traditional in-office therapy, virtual sessions, and nature-based therapy, I create multiple pathways for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions in environments that feel safe, grounding, and supportive to their nervous system.

Using Insurance for Therapy: Important Considerations

While I do accept some insurance plans, I believe it’s important for clients to understand how using insurance can impact their care. When therapy is billed through insurance, certain information must be shared with your insurance provider, including a mental health diagnosis, treatment plans, and session details required for reimbursement.

Additional considerations include:

  • Insurance companies determine medical necessity and may limit the number or frequency of sessions

  • Claims can be denied or reprocessed, resulting in unexpected costs

  • Diagnoses submitted to insurance become part of your permanent medical record

  • Treatment approaches and pacing may be influenced by insurance requirements

For some clients, insurance is the most accessible option. For others, self-pay offers greater privacy, flexibility, and autonomy in treatment. I am happy to discuss both options with you so you can make an informed decision that best supports your needs.

If you’d like me to check your insurance benefits, you’re welcome to complete the form and I’ll be in touch.
